The preferred transport in Uganda is called Matatu. And this are large vans that fifteen people can sit “comfortably” (including the driver) but usually they piled more. The good thing is that they are cheap. To Kampala you only paid 5000sh. A bargain as my sister would say. They stop when they see possible passage. It is not direct but it’s not bad. As air conditioners they have the air coming through the windows. And sometimes the matatu stops for sellers can go to the window and start screaming, they put meat on a stick or banana or chicken pieces inside the van through the window with a single function; to sell. Matatus are fast and are not exactly sure but it is what it is.
